I purchased these pants to use as a Halloween costume. When they arrived I was happy to find that they are very well made. I’m 5’3″ and 120lbs. The size XS are exactly the right size in the waist but the length is much too long. Maybe an extra three or four inches. The material is checkered, not houndstooth like I’d hoped, but all in all they are still nice quality pants. Deep pocks.

I am 5’7 130 and these are in no way a women’s cut if you are used to anything with tailoring. I bought the small and they were HUGE. Way too long and much to big everywhere else. They look nothing like the picture. I am a a normal size 4/6 so it surprised me that these fit so poorly. I am sending them back unfortunately and will continue my search.

Thank goodness I found these decent looking chef pants! I am a culinary student, and as a part of the required uniform I needed to get hounds-tooth pants. I have found that most chef pants available are unisex, way too baggy around the hip area, and tapered at the ankle – kinda reminds me of MC Hammer pants. These pants by Chef Works are tailored to the female figure, they’re comfortable, have straight legs, have deep pockets, have an elastic/ drawstring waistband, and flap pockets in the back. I am 5’4″, 115 lbs, and the XS is perfect…. although I will need to have the pants hemmed. I would definitely recommend these pants over the unisex ones any day!

Got a Serpa CQC black matte for my SW MP40c and it’s a great fit. Works great and after a little practice I was pushing the button before applying any force to draw and it’s smooth and easy now. It sticks out a bit from my waistline and I generally only use it with a larger coat or when open carrying. While it’s not ideal for concealed, it is OWB, so… I can really only see using the paddle because of how the weight of the pistols pulls down on the belt mount. I ended up trimming off the barrel end as they make the same holster for the full sized and compact 40 so it’s more material than needed and therefore you’re concealing extraneous holster, I saw someone else referencing this same issue with their PX4 compact.

This holster is well made and does have the advantage of including both belt and paddle type attachments. However, the PX4 sub compact model pistols do not go all the way to the end of the holster meaning that for sub compacts, it is almost 2 inches longer than necessary. If you are planning on using this for concealment of a sub compact model,there may be better options out there. I am keeping it for use with my full size PX4.

The light has a very bright yellowish beam if you like yellowish beams. The feel in the hand is outstanding, the best that I have experienced in any light. It fits easily in your pants pocket.

The light has dust or trash of some type under the clear lens and there is no way to remove the lens to clean the reflector and lens. The Dorcy web site has a support function and I emailed them. We exchanged four emails and it became evident that I was more knowledgeable about the construction of the light than they were. They were not able to provide an acceptable solution. This is the type of problem that should have been caught by manufacturing quality control. I have two Dorcy lights and both provide evidence of weak quality control procedures.

The switch is at the same level as the rubber coating and when picking the light up in the dark, it is very difficult to locate the switch. Also the switch is oblong and must be pushed exactly in the center making it even more difficult in the dark. Adding a small dot to raise the center of the switch would be a great addition to the light. I tried this but the rubber substance would not let the epoxy adhere properly.

I’ve owned and used a Lite Cylinder for a couple of years now. Here’s my perspective of the benefits and the drawbacks:

Benefits:
-Lightweight
-Fewer sharp edges compared to steel tank
-Easy to see actual fuel level

Drawbacks:
-The handle area has very poor clearance for many fittings and regulators. You may have to resort to using extensions to be able to use this tank. For the same reason, it’s difficult to really make tight connections to the tank. I’ve had several instances where someone connecting the tank to our stove had a leaky connection at the tank.
-Accessories like risers for lanterns and multiple supply fittings won’t fit this handle.
-These cylinders are rare enough that many filling station staff will look at these as if the tanks came from Mars. You may have a station refuse to fill the tank. Also, because filling personnel are used to looking for certifications on steel tanks, they may not see the certification decal.
-While the tank can be re-certified five years after the manufacturing date, it’s unclear who can and will do the certification.

For my use (camping, river trips) the benefits outweigh the drawbacks. I also have a Clear View cylinder which is a competing product. The Clear View has a better handle with more clearance for attachments. You still can’t connect risers to the Clear View, however. The Clear View has a wider, more stable base. But the Clear View isn’t very clear. It’s very difficult to get lighting just right so that I can confirm the fuel level in the Clear view tank. The Lite Cylinder is much better in this regard. If you don’t see the fuel level immediately, shake the tank a bit and you’ll see the level line.

The 10 lb Lite Cylinder is everything it says it is. I had two difficulties using it, however, with some standard propane accessories designed to allow connections from a bulk tank to camping appliances (In my case, a coleman stove and lantern.). The first was a propane tree – a device that allows hoses to connect to a rigid vertical pipe that attaches (clamps) to the cyclinder’s outer casing. I was unable to attache a Century Tool Distribution Tree (30 In, 3 Outlets) because of the curved shape of the upper casing. Consequently, I decided to buy a Century Propane T Connector which allows two hoses to be connected to the propane cylinder and connect my appliances that way. Unfortunately, the “channel” on the upper casing where the T Connector attaches to the cylinder is so narrow that the connector cannot be fully tightened into the tank. After trying to no avail to find a fitting that would extend out beyong the casing so I could attach the T Connector, I decided to just use a hacksaw blade to trim the plastic casing enough to let the connector to attach. It works fine now.

At first I was a bit hesitant buying this but I am pleased. I have had this for a few months and it is an eye catcher and easy to move around. Ace Hardware fills these guys, they too were shocked to see it. The Ace I go to had never seen one, it was a side show. If you are looking to haul a LP cylinder around, you should get a composite one like this one. There are two things I wish were a bit better: the decals affixed, which have important info like duration period of cylinder and serial number, to the cylinder don’t appear all that permanent, and the cylinder is not all that transparent as shown on youtube. Don’t get me wrong, you can still visually see the liquid LP levels, just not as bright and sexy as some of the advertising material. All in all, if you need a light cylinder with visual indications of fuel level, this baby will make you happy.

I cracked my screen over the weekend and bought this to replace it. The only negative I would say is that there are weird bright spots – mostly on the corners of the screen and two dots in the middle. I guess relatively speaking, when comparing it to looking through major cracks, the bright spots aren’t bad and I’m sure I’ll get used to it. For the cost of buying this and replacing it myself, compared to having it done at Apple or a computer store, it was definitely worth it. Make sure you have the pentalobe, mini-phillips and mini-flat head screwdrivers if you’re ordering the supplies to do this yourself.

It sucks that allot of people rate things horrible because they had a defective item. It happens. It’s something that consumer are willing to accept time and time again in trials because the only thing that can stop some defective items is to jack up the price substantially and perform labor and time intensive testing/ over qualifying of components and labor to assemble components. Also, since you’re here buying a soldering iron, It would be assumed that you have some sort of skill in assembling, and understand that at your higher standards of soldering you would not want to make the $25/day or less if you worked in the field of assembling components, nor would you be willing to pay an extra $25 for your item (or maybe you would have bought this at a high up-marked retailer with easy returns.)
Furthermore, people without problems fail to review, while people with problems tend to always review, so beware of inflation on that specifically.

I’m glad i got a Weller, and if there was an issue Weller does work to assist in resolving said issue, it even includes an exploded view of it’s simplistic parts to help you identify problems. I couldn’t ask for more for the price.

The construction quality of this product is fair at best. The connector for the soldering iron on the front of the base unit isn’t anchored in its place, and I can already tell this will be the first thing I ever have to fix on this unit. Operationally… it doesn’t seem to get as hot as the display says it is, but I’ll have to confirm this with later testing. I had also bought two other Weller soldering guns (140/100W and 260/200W) along with this order and they too are poorly built compared to my older Weller tools. It’s a shame.
