I used this about 10x already to heat shrink some computer cables. I like the digital display and the fact that it has variable temperature speed that I can adjust to. Gotta love the kick stand to put on the floor during usage. The cable is long enough. This is my first heat gun so I can’t make comparison with the weight of the unit, but it’s not too heavy in my opinion. Overall, I’m happy with it. I also like the fact that it has a 3 years warranty from manufacturer.

The only improvement that I would like to see is having the digital display light up and a carrying case.

So my old heat gun finally bit the dust after 10 good years. Heat guns are so expensive these days… so I did some research since I always wanted to upgrade to a digital temp controlled heat gun.

Well… these designer / upholstery style heat guns out there are well over $250 and you can pretty much find them online unless your local specialty paint supplier happens to have one in stock.

I took a chance buying this Dewalt Heat Gun… and I do everything from construction & electrical work to electronics repairs. Well, I mainly use it in the automotive repairs and electronics repairs. I usually have to heat adhesive pads to remove components glued to boards or panels for repairs and such…

For a little under $80 – this heat gun almost compares to the $250 heat guns. For the average person wanting true digital temp control – this is the tool to buy !!!! Its the best you will find.

I’ve used the $250 heat guns and the only advantage to spending the big dollars is that they blow more heat further away when you do heat activated upholstery work…. that’s pretty much it….

Plus this dewalt has a HIGH / Low fan switch and it heats up in about 10-15 seconds to your desired temp. It blows every heat gun out of the water or sun i should say !!!! when working with heat shrinks on inch plus wide cables and even the thinner ones.

In spite of it’s small size this Bluetooth adapter has excellent range. To maximize range you really need a class 1 device on both ends. If you don’t changing adapters may or may not extend your range. For me the standout feature of this adapter is that it simply works. Just plug it in to your Windows XP or later machine and watch while it’s detected and supported with Microsoft’s Bluetooth drivers. No fiddling around with poorly integrated software or drivers that other adapters require.

This will be adapter number three for me. I’ve had the other two for what must be years now and they’re wonderful devices. Over time they’ve been used to synchronize contact lists on mobile phones when they’re in range, with a Bluetooth headset, with the Logitech PS3 keyboard, between two computers and more. Today they’re still plugged in and going strong.

For now I’m staying away from the Bluetooth 3.0 devices in spite of the reviews (there’s one particularly well reviewed device) simply because I don’t want to use anyone but Microsoft’s drivers. Third party drivers may have more features but I never found them to be reliable.

Bottom line is that unless you need Bluetooth 3.0 features, this adapter is small, convenient, easy to use and reliable.

I bought this with the idea of synching my android phone to my pc to transfer files and have the pc act as a bluetooth headset per say. But the software of this dongle does not have these options. It supports FTP and synching with a mouse and keyboard. I do not get it. Any keyboard or mouse you buy that is wireless will have it’s own dongle. So as such I am not happy with this hardware and have already taken it out.

The docs included with this device say it works only with Windows. Boy, is that wrong.

Connected the Azio to a free USB port on an old G4 iBook with no built-in BT. Holy moley, this thing BLASTS out its signal! In terms of range of operation, it definitely beats the factory BT in a recent Mac Mini and a late-model MacBook Pro. I just got it today, so I can’t vouch for its longevity. But right out of the box, it’s pretty amazing.

Consider: iBook (with Azio attached) in the living room, streaming podcasts over our local network. Me in the kitchen listening on a BT headset while making a snack. Whoops, turned on the microwave! There goes the signal, right? Wrong! It kept playing. Not even a stutter or a drop. Let me repeat that: IT KEPT PLAYING OVER THE MICROWAVE.

Unbelievable. And at that range, at least 20 feet through an interior brick wall.

The iBook runs the latest version of Leopard, and it recognized the Azio instantly. Don’t know if it will work with earlier or later systems. I haven’t yet tried making Skype calls over the Azio, but I bet it works great. The Azio paired up with my stereo Samsung WEP870 headset easily.

I can heartily recommend this device to Mac users.

I really don’t use the wide-angle, but the macro for this price is EXCELLENT. I got very sharp, high-quality macro shots by simply attaching the macro over my CPL filter on my Nikon D5000. You could spend a ton of money on a lens that might be even better, but like someone else mentioned, if I have any problems with my photos using this macro, I can just tweak them in Photoshop and I’m very satisfied. I finally got the strength to do it on the last day before I cannot return it; not because I am lazy; but because I cannot find any instructions on the 2009 Camry’s owner manual or by googling for it. I have the experience of replacing the air filter for my Nissan Sentra because I can easily remove the clips and replace the filter, just like other cars. Toyota don’t tell you where the housing is but it is not difficult to find. Worse still they put bolts and nuts on two sides of the housing where they don’t give you room to use a wrench. My conspiracy theory is that they don’t want you to DIY. They want you to take it to a dealer and let them charge you labor every time. This is just a reflection of the latest aggressive marketing strategies of Toyota which has resulted in the recalls of defective gas pedals and brakes. It took me over half an hour to loosen up the bolts with a plier. The easy part was to take out the old filter and put this new in. It’s ironic to write in length for a process that is not related to this product quality. But I think you should learn from me that you must see if you are able take out the existing filter and check it before buying a new one to avoid the hassle of returning it.
Not much to say about the product except the fact that to my surprise, it is moist, oily and pretty heavy (compared to the normal paper ones). I think they should be good features even though there is nothing on the pack to explain it — heavy means more durable; moist means it could trap more dust before the air enters into the chamber. There is no installation instructions sheet. There is a sticker though. I encourage you to stick it on top of the housing in case your (unscrupulous) mechanic tosses it and replaces it with the paper one.
I know it takes around five years before you need to clean it. There is nothing telling me I have to buy their cleaning solution to clean it. Of course, they don’t tell you whether you should open the housing for maintenance/cleaning before the 5th year. Perhaps I really do not need to do anything and that’s why they don’t mention anything. Do you think so?
I gave fours stars because of the product feature the manufacturer claims. I cannot give five stars because of the lack of instructions and I have not used it long enough. I hope Amazon will let me do a follow-up review a couple years later before I can give it five stars.

K&N 33-2370 Review by TJ Zonie (Florida)

I purchased this K & N filter for my 2010 four cylinder Camry about 2 months ago. After installation I noticed a mile or so increase in gas mileage in the city. Two weeks ago I took a trip 700 miles one way from home. The trip up I got 33+ MPG. The trip home I topped 35 MPG. This mileage was not achieved in any previous trips so I can only attribute this to the K & N filter. By the way, the federal standards for this vehicle are 22 MPG city 32 MPG highway. That makes for an increase of 10% in MPG over the federal standard which will certainly pay for the filter in a short time. I have 3 other older vehicles that I have used K & N filters in for years. Their results were not as pronounced but all have shown some improvement in performance & MPG.

I bought this cushion to get my husband to stop taking my smaller (blue) one. He plays classical guitar and would get a backache if he played for more than 20 minutes at a time. This cushion puts his body in the correct position so he can play longer. It is wider than the regular one, so it looks more like a cushion than a chair pad, or, worse yet, one of those round donut shaped pillows that look like a kid’s potty training seat.

We love the Tush Cush Seat Cushions because they are lightweight, firm without being hard, nice looking, and most importantly, let us sit in comfort without the pain of sciatica. The band across the opening (which goes towards the back) makes a nice handle as well as keeping the cushion from spreading out. The extra-large cushion is large enough to let a plus-sized person sit on it without feeling like they have to balance carefully, or worry about collapsing the pillow. If you suffer from lower back pain, this is the cushion to get.

This brand new replica U.S. Marine Corps NCO sword featured a steel slightly sharp steel blade stamped with scroll work and “United States Marines” engraved on one side. The hilt and and pommel guard have a goldtone finish, with an open work floral pattern on the guard. The hard plastic grip is wrapped in metallic gold nylon cording, and the silken yellow tassel at the end has a wooden bead. The leather wrapped scabbard has goldtone plating on both ends. I purchased these pants to use as a Halloween costume. When they arrived I was happy to find that they are very well made. I’m 5’3″ and 120lbs. The size XS are exactly the right size in the waist but the length is much too long. Maybe an extra three or four inches. The material is checkered, not houndstooth like I’d hoped, but all in all they are still nice quality pants. Deep pocks.

I am 5’7 130 and these are in no way a women’s cut if you are used to anything with tailoring. I bought the small and they were HUGE. Way too long and much to big everywhere else. Thank goodness I found these decent looking chef pants! I am a culinary student, and as a part of the required uniform I needed to get hounds-tooth pants. I have found that most chef pants available are unisex, way too baggy around the hip area, and tapered at the ankle – kinda reminds me of MC Hammer pants. These pants by Chef Works are tailored to the female figure, they’re comfortable, have straight legs, have deep pockets, have an elastic/ drawstring waistband, and flap pockets in the back. I am 5’4″, 115 lbs, and the XS is perfect…. although I will need to have the pants hemmed. I would definitely recommend these pants over the unisex ones any day!
